Integrated Cultural Campus Master Plan

Radiating out from North Terrace is a network of learning and research institutions with strong connections to the cultural institutions. The Cultural Campus Master Plan will draw this network into the fold of the existing North Terrace cultural precinct.  

 

Designing the Master Plan will also take into account how it connects to City and State strategic projects and their associated timeframes.

 

Two of these projects are 5000+: an Integrated Design Strategy for Inner Adelaide and the Adelaide City Council Structure Plan.

 

The Master Plan Steering Group comprises representatives from the cultural institutions – State Library of South Australia, South Australian Museum, Art Gallery of South Australia, History SA, Arts SA, Artlab and the University of Adelaide.

Tonsley Park 5042

The Commission is continuing to work with the Department for Manufacturing, Innovation, Trade, Resources and Energy, and the project team, led by Woods Bagot and Parsons Brinkerhoff, as they move to implement the master plan for the site.  Click here for more information and fly through >

 

 

Adelaide Convention Centre 5000

The Commission is working with the Office of Major Projects (DTEI), and the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC); providing design advice and overseeing the alignment of the project with the Riverbank Masterplan. Click here for more information >

 

Riverbank Masterplan 5000

The Commission was instrumental in securing support for a renewed masterplan to underpin significant capital investment in the precinct, and is working with the Office of Major Projects (DTEI) to deliver a masterplan that will guide the continued development of the Riverbank precinct.  Click here for more information >

 

Mt Barker 5251

The Commission is already working with developers, design professionals, Mt Barker Council and the community to ensure that development in Mt Barker is co-ordinated, considered and reflects sustainable practice. Click here for more information and slide show >

 

The New Royal Adelaide Hospital

The Commission is working with the Department of Health and other stakeholders, to ensure this new state-of-the-art facility can act as a catalyst for renewal in Adelaide's West End, and connect and enhance access to the precinct. Click here for more information >
